What a wonderful wonderful woman xxx
I hope it’s never too late to say goodbye.
I hired and worked with Jane in Ottawa first then Toronto with Loblaws.
Jane was the life of any gathering.
Be it social, work functions and I bet at family functions.
Just an awesome heartfelt person.
Jane you will be missed.
To great times.
Tim

Unlike other such celebrations previously experienced, COVID has presented many challenges to prepare for Jane’s event. As you look through your calendar, we would appreciate all those who wish to attend to advise me as soon as possible of your intentions. We sincerely hope that we have a great representation to honor Jane, although we also understand with changing events of the pandemic, adjustments in allowable attendance may be needed depending on Health Regulations.

It brings me such sadness to hear the news of Jane's passing...what a beautiful tribute to the person she truly was. A lady with spunk, kindness and always a friendly smile. I always admired her joy for life no matter what was going on in her personal life. It was an honour to have known her. She will be missed. ?
I first met Jane on the Jan TV set series and I was fortunate to see her again on the set of "Fortunate Son". Her personality and smile was contagious. She was a positive spirit, always encouraging you to "go for it!"
I am saddened to hear of her passing. I will remember you Jane for everything you were and what you brought to my life. May you be resting in peace or flying all over the word with the biggest, whitest wings?♀️! You will be missed my TV set "sista" ✌
It was such a pleasure to work with Jane while she was at Westjet. She truly was an amazing and positive person, and I was always happy to see when her name appeared on my crew.
To all of Jane’s family and friends, I hope you can take solace knowing what a positive impact Jane had on all those lives that she has touched.
RIP Jane, you will be missed.
I had the pleasure of traveling through Scotland with Jane, Joanne and Donna. It is still the best trip I have ever had. Jane also hosted Joanne and I in Calgary and showed us around even though the weather was so foggy we could not see any mountains. There will always be a special place in my memories for Jane.
we are so sorry for you loss. We were fortunate to have met Jane on occasion, she truly was a vibrant beautiful woman with a loving touching heart. Our love and prayers go out to you all at this time, thinking of you,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
I feel so blessed and grateful to have met Jane in the final months of her FULL life. I have enjoyed looking through all of these pictures and stories and getting to celebrate Jane in her living! Joan and Jane are 2 women I will not soon forget. Jane taught so much with her gracious spirit, her generous character and her undeniable smile and whit. Thank you for sharing her with me. Oh my gosh,This is a tough note to write.I was blessed to meet Jane through a high school friend in Ottawa, Joanne Richardson.I got to spend some time with Jane in Ottawa and Toronto for some lively evenings out.Now our trip to Ireland and then Scotland another year were wonderful adventurous times.Jane being so generous she brought a red roots cap for myself,Joanne and another friend Rita.(which I still have).Kissed the Blarney Stone as well as a few pub nights and many more days of adventures.(golfing in Scotland).
Jane was so friendly and a great travel companion.I am a little on the quiet side but felt very comfortable with her due to her huge heart and she was such a supportive and considerate friend. After she moved to Calgary we kept in touch via email and messenger. My last message I sent was on July 27.
I am so grateful she was surrounded by such a loving family.Take care Joan as you will miss her for sure but you gave all the love and beautiful memories you could possibly. My deepest condolences to you Joan,Darcy and family.?
Jane was one of the most extraordinary people I've ever met. Her indomitable spirit, courage and strength inspired everyone who knew her. She brought pure joy to every person she met! I asked her last week if she would prepare a birthday message for my Mom's 90th birthday COVID-friendly birthday celebration and she somehow found the strength to sing a song for her and perform a change of hats on video - which we will cherish always. The two of them shared the most amazing friendship - she adopted my Mom and the two loved one another dearly and deeply. Mom collected feathers on her farm for Jane and Jane would then transform them into the most beautiful dreamcatchers which will be cherished by anyone who was lucky enough to receive one. Jane taught two of her nieces how to make them, so the legacy lives on and my Mom will continue collecting feathers for them and think of Jane every time she finds them. So will I - feathers will be my forever reminder of this extraordinary and special woman. Fly free as the eagle spirit you honored - free of pain and suffering, Jane. You leave an amazing legacy of love with your family (how she loved all of you - especially Joan and Darcy!) and friends, Jane, and every life you touched while you graced the earth. You will be forever loved and never forgotten.
So blessed to have spent some time with her. Sending healing thoughts to everyone! Much love from the Costante clan.
I worked together with Jane at WestJet. She was the most amazing, funny, energetic, happy lady I have ever had the honour to work with. Jane, I will never forget you and you will always be in my happy memories. Thank you for being you. My heart and condolences go out to the Russett family. Sending you love and strength at this difficult time. We are all blessed by Jane's amazing Spirit. We will miss you Jane. God Bless...
Stevie.
What can I say about missing my buddy Jane? In 1988, when I came back from travelling and was looking for work, a friend of a friend said they knew someone who was looking to hire someone. I didn’t know Jane, but called her up where she connected me to her Loblaws management as if I was a long lost friend. That started a special friendship that started in Ottawa, we both eventually moved to Toronto, traveled together to Ireland and Scotland and kept in touch over the years while Jane was in Alberta. Jane lit up a room. She had a way of making everyone relax and could introduce total strangers to each other so the room was always buzzing. The fun and trouble we got in was something else. I was lucky enough to meet most of her family over the years --- you all meant so much to her as I know she meant to you. I’m forever grateful for your cross-country trip a couple of years ago. I cherish that time and all the others Jane and I spent together. What a lovely tribute and photos in this webpage. My heart aches for you all. Love you Janey!
To the Russett;
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Jane was a very good friend of ours. She will be forever in our hearts. RIP dear Jane.

To my whole family
I feel the best of us has been taken away. I struggle with this loss, to find some sort of reasons why such a charismatic, brilliant, beautiful, soul filled person had to leave this existence and move on to another. Then I talked to Pam, and Pammy said that we’re to live by her example. (I love my cousin Pam and her insight). We’re to cherish each day as Jane did.
And that’s what I am going to do, heck, that’s everything this family is. We cherish each other, as we should. The spiritual quintessence that I admire about Jane; even in her darkest days, she always had a positivity about life that just made things that much better. The time we had and the many texts & notes she sent meant more to me than you can imagine, I am in envy of those closest to her who had more time to share life with. You’re all so lucky 🙂
My love to Betty, Joan, Susan, Laurie, Tom & Tim

As I read through all the guestbook entries and the WestJet support jane Page, there’s one common thread. It’s how jane could capture you instantly with her smile that would like up a room and her Genuine love of people and friends, what a legacy to leave behind! She was like a rare and beautiful gem! She was infectious and incredibly beautiful inside and out and her ability to connect with people was a gift like no other. Not to mention the amount of laughter and belly laughs you shared with her! So many beautiful and funny memories! Thanks Jane for being YOU! Truly one in a million. I love you and will pray for you entire family during this difficult time. Go spread your wing beautiful. You will always have a place in our hearts.
I met Jane in Mexico at a good friend’s daughter’s wedding. We made friends right away and Jane made you feel like a best friend instantly - we became known as Jane Squared that week. She was a beautiful woman. My heart has been heavy all day with the news of her passing. Heaven has a new angel. My condolences to her family and a special hug to Joan. xoxo
To a beautiful woman, with so much heart and soul...you will be greatly missed and forever remembered my beautiful friend. I'm glad you can now rest in peace, we all loved you so much.
To my very dear Russett relatives I send my love and endless hugs as you make your way through this part of your journey with Jane. She will support you now, as will Uncle Juniour. I can hear him saying "well done, now I'll take it from here". Thank you Jane for the many treasures we call memories. We will visit with you there forever. The angels will meet ya, the family will greet ya. The Lord has a place at the table to seat ya. To those left behind you'll always be dear. We know that you're there, but to us, you're still here.
Dear Joan, Darcy & Family,
We are very sorry to hear of Jane's Passing.
Jane was obviously a Lady with a big heart and zest for life and am sure will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
