How can words even begin to describe how amazing Jane was. The impact she had is evident in the amount of lives that were blessed because of HER. I am so sorry for your loss. She always talked about her nephews, nieces, sisters, brothers, family - she was so very proud of each of you. Huge hugs to all of you.

Rest well my sweet Janer. You are one of the most brave, resilient and inspiring souls I’ve had the pleasure of calling a friend. I’ll be having an extra glass of Vat #5 in your honor tonight. Some good! Xo

Love & prayers to Joan, Darcy, Shelby, & Brandon and all of the Russett & extended family on Jane’s passing. Our heart breaks with yours. Jane was such an amazing soul who touched so many & will be greatly missed. I was blessed to be able to spend time with Jane at so many different family get togethers over the past 32 years. Jane always new how to light up a room with her bubbly personality & warm smile. You can see why she had so many friends & family members who loved & adored her. These traits of course helped her fight this terrible disease we call Cancer with courage, dignity & grace. Jane of course was blessed with her twin Joan who fought the battle right along with her and was her #1 cheerleader and supporter. She will forever be remembered for her ability to persevere in the face of adversity. Heaven has gained another Angel. Forever loved!

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Jane’s passing. I met Jane in the very same moment as I met Joan and I have always considered her to be my sister, just as I do Joan. Jane inspired me so much over the past 6 years of fighting this terrible disease with dignity, grace, joy and laughter. She fought the battle so hard and not once did I hear a complaint or have self pity although she did not deserve this as no one does! I will forever be humbled by her energy for life and her positivity. To Joan, you were truly an amazing sister who stood by her side as she walked EVERY step of her journey. I know that it will be a very sad time for you, but I also know that you should be extremely proud of everything that you did for your sister Jane over these past 6 years. I know that your presence assisted with Jane’s ability to remain so positive. Deep inside, I think that you were the reason that Jane continued to fight so hard and remain so positive. I also know how difficult it must have been for you to stay strong. I sometimes think that it is almost more difficult in “some” ways for you, the loving caregiver. I am so very broken hearted for Jane’s entire family and extensive list of friends; however, I have additional tears for you! You were Jane’s earth Angel and as Mary Ellen was told once, “We do still need angels down here on earth too!”. I know that you will be strong and continue Jane’s legacy! May you all find comfort knowing just how many lives Jane touched with such positivity. May you rest in peace Jane!

We entered this world together and I was so blessed to be with you as you departed. You spent a lifetime being your most authentic self, you had a passport filled with stamps, a soul filled with experiences, memories that shook you to your core and pure, unhinged passion for things that spoke to your spirit and filled your heart. You are so loved, and I am so proud of the amazing, beautiful human being that you are. See you on the other side! Forever loved…..Never forgotten,….Womb Mate
