To the Russett clan...I am sure you are all reeling from the loss of your beautiful daughter, sister and Auntie. She was the most inclusive, kind and loving woman I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will miss her laugh and her singing and her wonderful sense of humour. She always made me feel so loved and welcomed, as she did to all she encountered. You are all so blessed to have had Jane as part of your family. She leaves behind too many memories to share here but she will forever live in our hearts. She will always be with all of you and now she is at peace. I love you all and am sending the biggest of hugs and my sincerest heartfelt condolences. Cheers BFF! Until we meet again ??

Dear Joan and Darcy So sad to hear the news. Even though we didn’t know her for long, but she was on our minds always. Where she will always be.

Joan, Darcy and family, I’m so sorry to hear this heart wrenching news. The tributes to Jane are a testimony to the life she lived and the family that has surrounded her during her life and illness. I can remember Grandma getting very excited whenever Jane was at a family gathering or went to visit her in Calgary. She ‘just loved her.’ May the memories you cherish help you through this extremely difficult time. ~Anna Archer Braun and family

Joan and Darcy. I received the sad news of Jane’s passing from Paul. Jane was a dear, beautiful person and it was always a joy to be in her company. She was also truly blessed to have you “twin” Joan and Darcy to always give her such quality time and loving care. Her loss is immeasurable, but so is the love she left behind! My wish is for the two of you to go forward and enjoy every precious day of your life and honor Jane by doing so, as that is what she would want you to do. May God surround you with his loving arms and give you peace! Much love and blessings - Auntie Sharon ?

My thoughts and prayers are with a Janes family for the loss of this incredible woman who lifted the spirits, and etched her goodness into everyone she met. I’m grateful to met Jane have shared a slice of her wonderful life. I will remember her as a brave, kind, happy and fearless Jungle Jane warrior who leaves each person she met along her journey with a special gift of her zest for people, life and adventure! What a beautiful tribe to her legacy that will continue to impact the lives of others forever! I’m so thankful for the hug at the Tom Baker, conversation that she too was touched by DV, and how stress is a cancer. Until that moment, I didn’t link the two together and have taken that conversation to heart with a reminder to strive for a stress free. Jane was a Woman of Inspiration and an earth ? angel! She will be sadly missed. Her legacy will be remembered for the impact she made in the lives of those she touched! ?❤️ Godspeed Jungle Jane ❤️

In October of 2006 I entered initial training at Westjet. I rented a room from Anni and on my .3rd day in the house, in came this absolutely beautiful and charismatic human named Jane. I was in awe of Jane . She made me laugh, she made me feel comfortable and she was THE cleanest person I ever met. She helped me through Initial and I am so honoured to call her a friend. Thank yuh for sharing your daughter, sister, aunt with the world. She made the world a more magical place. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend.
